कावेरी च महापुण्या प्रतीची च महानदी ।ये पिबन्ति जलं तासां मनुजा मनुजेश्वर ।प्रायो भक्ता भगवति वासुदेवेऽमलाशयाः

So, king, by the name and the form that fit the age, the Bhagavan is worshipped by the men who live in that age: Hari, the Lord of all that is good. Noble men who know quality and take the essence give honour to the Kali age, since in it a man's whole aim is reached by nothing but praising him aloud together. For those who wear bodies and wander here there is no higher gain than this, since by it a man finds the highest peace and the round of birth is destroyed. King, in Krta and the rest the creatures wish to be born in Kali, for in Kali there will surely be men given over wholly to Narayana. Here and there, great king, and in large numbers among the Dravidas, where the river Tamraparni is, and Krtamala, and Payasvini;

and Kaveri of great merit, and the great river running west. Lord of men, the men who drink the water of those rivers are for the most part given in devotion to the Bhagavan, Vasudeva, and their hearts are clean.
