Verse 1

¹When Krsna, the ornament of the Yadu line, had gone to his own abode, whose line went on in the earth? Sage, tell me this. ²The last of the line of Brhadratha will be one named Purañjaya. His minister Sunaka will kill his master and set up his own son ³as king, under the name Pradyota; and that son will be Palaka. Visakhayupa will be his son, and after him Rajaka. ⁴Nandivardhana is his son. These five are the Pradyotanas, and these kings will hold the earth a hundred and thirty-eight years.
