The bodies of those who wear them wasting away through the fault of the Kali age; the dharma of those who keep class and stage lost, and the way of the Veda lost to men; dharma thick with false teaching; the kings little better than bandits; men living by theft and lying and killing for nothing and any trade at all; the classes little better than sudras; the cows little better than goats; the stages of life little better than householding; kinship little better than marriage; the plants nearly all small; what stands nearly all sami; the clouds nearly all lightning; the houses nearly all empty.
