7Praised in this way, sage, and honoured to his heart's content by the sage, the Bhagavan, the Lord, said that it should be so, and smiling went off to the hermitage at Badari. 8The sage stayed on in his own hermitage thinking of that one thing, and in fire and sun and moon, in water, earth, wind and sky, and in the self, 9meditating on Hari everywhere, he worshipped him with the things of the heart. Now and then he forgot the worship altogether, flooded by a rising of love.
