In plain words

The cowherd girls, to Kṛṣṇa, of the one thing they truly seek: Hear why we have come in the small hours before dawn to worship you and praise your golden lotus feet. Born as you are in the clan that grazes cattle and lives by them, you cannot go without taking our intimate service. We did not come to receive the drum for today, see, O Gōvinda: for all time, through seven times seven births, we shall be your own kin, and to you alone we shall do service. Turn away all our other desires. Take it up and heed it, girl of ours.
