In plain words

The cowherd girls, surrendering to Kṛṣṇa, with nothing of their own to offer: We are girls who follow the cattle into the forest and eat as we go, of the cowherd clan that has no knowledge at all; yet we have merit enough to have you born among us. O Gōvinda, in whom nothing is lacking, the bond between you and us cannot be ended here, though you or we should try. We are ignorant children: do not be angry that out of love we called you by little names. O Lord, give us the drum. Take it up and heed it, girl of ours.
