In plain words
The poet, of the Lord's devotees: Those who dwell constantly at the feet of the Lord whom the Vedas, beyond all measure, reveal, who stands at Vēṅkaṭam, and whose feet the crowns of the immortals [his eternal attendants] touch, will not swell with pride, saying "Wealth is ours," nor go even near despair, saying "It was there, and now it is gone."
