In plain words

It looked, and the body of Kāma became dust. With the tip of its toe it struck, and the demon went head downward. It raised its shining, finely made sword, and the head of Dakṣa rolled away. It took Jalandhara's life. It is the puṇṇiyam that rules Marutu, ringed by the swelling Poṉṉi.

Line by line

it looked, so that Kāma's body became dust; with the tip of the toe it struck, so that the demon went head downward; its shining fine sword it raised, so that Dakṣa's head rolled away; Jalandhara's life it took away; the puṇṇiyam that rules Marutu ringed by the swelling Poṉṉi indeed.
