In plain words

The poet, of the fruit of this decad: Paṭṭarpirāṉ of Villiputtūr, where the scent of the water-lilies that adorn the waters spreads unceasing, whose ancient fame adorns the earth, has sung the words of the herdswoman [Yaśōdā] with her breasts bound in a bodice, "Mādhava [Lord of Śrī], drink!"; those who master his songs will have minds that go out to red-eyed Māl, adorned with every excellence.
