Verse 371

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

The poet, to those who name their children: You who flourish with children, why did you give them the names of others, craving oil for the crown of the head, a forehead pendant and bangles? Even if you must go begging for alms, give them with love the sacred name of our Lord alone. The mother of a child called Nārāyaṇa will never enter hell.
