In plain words
The poet, to those who name their children: Do not give your children the names of men whom the unlearned and the learned know as great, keep company with them, perish with them, and slip and fall into the pit they fell into; follow him with praise, saying, Lord who kicked the cart [Śakaṭa] to pieces! Dāmōdara! The mother of a child called Nārāyaṇa will never enter hell.
