In plain words
The poet with the devotees, to the Lord: We are these servants who wear the yellow silk you have worn and put off, eat what is left in your dish, and wear the tulasi garlands we ourselves strung, once you have worn them and put them off. Having done well the tasks you sent us to do in every quarter, on the holy festival of Tiruvōṇam we sing "many years" to him who takes his rest on the couch of the hooded serpent [Ādiśeṣa] spread beneath him.
