In plain words

The poet, to the people of the world: His own people, who carry flowers and water to the feet of the Lord who wears flowering tulasi, fresh as if still growing in its own field, and keep worshipping him: for them the stain of the mind is cleared, deeds hard to shed will not come near, and the wealth of serving him comes into their hands of itself.
