In plain words
Amutaṉār, to his heart: O heart, we cried "wealth, sons, land, and women with flowers in their hair", and wore ourselves out in delusion. For us Rāmānuja removed the cruel sorrow that is born of the darkness [of ignorance], and gave the clear knowledge that discerns his own great auspicious qualities, which have no end. Could any other give the protection that Rāmānuja gives?
