Amutaṉār: Long ago, for Yudhiṣṭhira, who had taken refuge in him, Māyavaṉ brought the hundred [Kauravas] to their death. "These faculties he has set in you so that you may bow to him; they are not for yourselves": had Rāmānuja not set up this safeguard for souls there, when they strayed through the senses, who else would be a safeguard for these precious souls?
