Reṇukā

Jamadagni, given to the study of the Veda and to austerity, brought the gods under his power by his discipline. He went to King Prasenajit and asked him for Reṇukā, and the king gave her to him. With Reṇukā, who was of one mind with him, he lived in his hermitage and practised austerity. She bore him four sons, and a fifth, Rāma, the youngest, who was not the least of them. So it was in Rāma, Satyavatī's grandson, and not in her son, that Bhṛgu's word came true: he was the brahmin who would live by the warrior's way.
