In plain words
The poet, to the people of the world: Thinking to enjoy every pleasure through women, they take on a great misery; when they have eaten at night and lie down, they fret for the body alone and are troubled in mind. They do not become the servants of the Lord whose chest bears the garland of cool tulasi, singing his qualities and dancing, taking on his service and eating that nectar [the enjoyment of his qualities]. How these lowly ones relish their rice!
