Advaitānubhūtiḥ

Verse 34

पुष्पेषु तेषु नष्टेषु यद्वत्सूत्रं न नश्यति ।तथा देहेषु नष्टेषु नैव नश्याम्यहं सदा ॥ ३२ ॥

In plain words

The flowers of a garland may fall away, yet the thread remains. So too bodies pass, but I, the Self, do not perish.

Just as the thread does not perish when those flowers perish, so when bodies perish, I do not perish at all; I remain always.
