The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Advaitānubhūtiḥ

Verse 82

In plain words

The three guṇas and their movements shine out, each one unlike the other two — and they shine within that whose one mark is the real ātman. That is exactly what I am, and I have no parts.

Close to the Sanskrit

The triad of guṇa-modifications, mutually dissimilar, shines in that whose defining mark is the real Self — that very one am I, partless.
