। ॥ १० ॥
In plain words
Bestow swiftly upon me a compassionate sidelong glance, O you of noble conduct. It is not fitting for you to neglect me, when I have entered the dīkṣā of refuge. For if the wish-granting vine did not give what was desired at every step, how would it differ from a mass of ordinary vines?
Close to the Sanskrit
Bestow swiftly a glance from the corner of your compassionate eye, O you whose conduct is good. Disregard is not fitting on your part toward me, who have already come to the dīkṣā of refuge. For if the wish-granting vine were not to give what is desired at every step — ah! — how would there be any distinction for it from the crowds of other, ordinary vines?
