In plain words
You have fed Vipras until they were satisfied — what of it? You have pleased the Devas with yajñas — what of it? Your fame has filled all the worlds — what of it, if you never once came face to face with your own Ātma?
Close to the Sanskrit
Whether Vipras have been satisfied with food — from that, what? Whether Devas have been pleased with yajñas — from that, what? All the worlds have been pervaded by fame — from that, what? — for one by whom his own Ātma was not at all directly realized.
