Aparokṣānubhūtiḥ

Verse 98

क्षीयन्ते चास्य कर्माणि तस्मिन्दृष्टे परावरे ।बहुत्वं तन्निषेधार्थं श्रुत्या गीतं च यत्स्फुटम् ॥ ९८ ॥

In plain words

And when That is seen — the high and the low, cause and effect, all of it one — his karma is finished. As for the many that Śruti sings so plainly: it names them only to cancel them.

Close to the Sanskrit

And his actions are destroyed, when That — the higher and the lower — has been seen; and the plurality which is plainly sung by the Śruti is for the purpose of negating that plurality.
