उच्यतेऽज्ञैर्बलाच्चैतत्तदानर्थद्वयागमः ।वेदान्तमतहानं च यतो ज्ञानमिति श्रुतिः ॥ ९९ ॥

And the ignorant press this claim by sheer force. Then two evils set in at once — and the Vedānta position is forfeited along with them, since the śruti's own word is: knowledge.
