Verse 4

In plain words

This whole universe shines out in the Self, and it is not real. It shines in that Self whose very nature is being, awareness, bliss — and it shines only out of delusion. Like a dream thrown up by the confusion of sleep, it is not real. Pure, whole, eternal, one — I am Śiva.

Close to the Sanskrit

This universe, unreal, appears in the Self — whose nature is being, awareness, bliss — through delusion. Like a dream arising from the confusion of sleep, it is not real. Pure, whole, eternal, one — I am Śiva.
