In plain words
The blessed one, whose deeds even the moon holds in wonder; dark as a cloud heavy with rain; she thrives on the worship the sages bring her, and to anyone who comes with flowers she has vowed to give liberation. Honour a young girl and her heart clears like a sky; her waist gleams with its jewelled girdle. She who lives on the hill of Śrīśaila — the Goddess, the holy Mother — I hold her in my heart.
Close to the Sanskrit
The blessed one; her whose deeds are worthy of the moon's contemplation; her who is dark as a rain-bearing cloud; her who flourishes in the worship of sages; her whose vow is the granting of liberation to those who bring flowers; her whose heart is wholly gladdened by the worship of maidens; her whose waist shines with its girdle; her who dwells in the precinct of Śrīśaila — the Goddess, the holy Mother, I contemplate.
