Then Bhujyu, the son of Lahya, turned to Yajnavalkya. 'While we were wandering students in the land of the Madras,' he said, 'we came to the house of Patancala, of the Kapya line. His daughter was possessed by a gandharva. We asked the spirit, "Who are you?" and he answered, "I am Sudhanvan, of the line of Angiras." When we pressed him about the far edges of the worlds, we asked him, "Where did the Pariksitas go?" — "Where did the Pariksitas go?" That very question I now put to you, Yajnavalkya: where did the Pariksitas go?'
