Verse 161

अथ ह वाचक्नव्युवाच ब्राह्मणा भगवन्तो हन्ताहमिमं द्वौ प्रश्नौ प्रक्ष्यामि तौ चेन्मे वक्ष्यति न वै जातु युष्माकमिमं कश्चिद्ब्रह्मोद्यं जेतेति पृच्छ गार्गीति ॥ १ ॥

In plain words

Then Gārgī, daughter of Vacaknu, stood up. 'Teachers,' she said, 'hear me. I'm going to ask this man two questions. If he can answer them, none of you will ever out-argue him on the nature of Brahman.' 'Go ahead, Gārgī,' they said.

Close to the Sanskrit

Then Vācaknavī spoke: 'O Brāhmaṇas, venerable ones, come, I shall ask this man two questions. If he answers those two for me, then truly none among you will ever defeat this man in a discourse on Brahman.' 'Ask, Gārgī,' [they said].
