In plain words

He said: 'Understand this about me, dear child — everything I know, I have already told you, all of it. Let's go together, then, and once we get there, live there as students' — 'No,' said the boy, 'you go yourself.' So Gautama went to where Pravahana, son of Jivala, was staying. A seat was brought for him, water was fetched for him, and then a formal welcome-offering was made for him. Pravahana said to him: 'We grant the venerable Gautama a boon.'
