'Teach me, revered sir,' pleaded Nārada, approaching Sanatkumāra. The sage said to him: 'Approach me first with what you already know; whatever lies beyond that, I will impart to you.'

'Teach me, O Lord,' thus Nārada approached Sanatkumāra. To him he said: 'Whatever you know, approach me with that; beyond that I will speak to you.' He spoke thus.
