In plain words

Of that sun which holds the divine honey, the eastern rays are its eastern honey-channels. The Rig verses act as bees, making the red honey supported by the sun. The ritual action prescribed by the Rigveda serves as the flower. The oblations of soma, butter, and milk offered into the fire become transformed into immortal, nectar-like waters. Gathering the essence from these floral actions, the Rig verses behave just like bees.
