In plain words

The confinement of the growing fetus, whose power, strength, vigor, brilliance, and intellect are completely obstructed, followed by the agonizing exit through the womb during birth—this instills deep detachment, reflecting on what it is to lie within for nine or ten endless months of unbearable confinement.

Close to the Sanskrit

The lying down of the growing one, whose power, strength, valor, brilliance, intellect, and action are obstructed by the forceful entry; then the extremely difficult emergence through the door of the womb as birth—this causes one to grasp detachment, having lain inside for an exceedingly long time, for nine or ten months, which is unbearable compared to a mere muhurta.
