अथ ह उवाच इन्द्रद्युम्नं भाल्लवेयम्— वैयाघ्रपद्य कं त्व-मात्मानमुपास्से इत्यादि समानम् ।पृथग्वर्त्मा नाना वर्त्मानियस्य वायोरावहोद्वहादिभिर्भेदैः वर्तमानस्य सोऽयं पृथग्व-र्त्मा वायुः ।तस्मात् पृथग्वर्त्मात्मनो वैश्वानरस्योपासनात् पृथ-क् नानादिकाः त्वां बलयः वस्त्रान्नादिलक्षणा बलयः आयन्तिआगच्छन्ति ।पृथग्रथश्रेणयः रथपङ्क्तयोऽपि त्वामनुयन्ति ॥

Then the commentary explains the passage beginning with: 'O Indradyumna Bhallaveya, Vaiyāghrapadya, which self do you worship?' and the rest is identical to the previous explanations. 'Having separate paths' means the wind has various courses, functioning through different modes such as Āvāha and Udvaha; this is that wind with separate paths. Therefore, through meditating upon Vaiśvānara as the Self of separate paths, distinct tributes—consisting of garments, food, and similar offerings—come to you. Separate rows of chariots also follow you.

Then he spoke to Indradyumna Bhallaveya—'O Vaiyāghrapadya, which self do you worship?' etc. is the same. 'Having separate paths': various are the paths of whose wind, by means of the distinctions of Āvāha, Udvaha, etc., of that existing [wind], this is that separately-coursing wind. Therefore, from the worship of Vaiśvānara as the separately-coursing Self, separate, manifold tributes—characterized by garments, food, and the like—tributes come, arrive. Separate rows of chariots—rows of chariots also follow you.
