Bhashya
एतत् विद्वांसः विदितवन्तः पूर्वे अतिक्रान्ताः महा-शालाः महाश्रोत्रियाः आहुः ह स्म वै किल ।किमुक्तवन्तइति, आह— न नः अस्माकं कुले अद्य इदानीं यथोक्त-विज्ञानवतां कश्चन कश्चिदपि अश्रुतमतमविज्ञातम् उदाह-रिष्यति नोदाहरिष्यति, सर्वं विज्ञातमेव अस्मत्कुलीनानांसद्विज्ञानवत्त्वात् इत्यभिप्रायः ।ते पुनः कथं सर्वं विज्ञात-वन्त इति, आह— एभ्यः त्रिभ्यः रोहितादिरूपेभ्यः त्रिवृ-त्कृतेभ्यः विज्ञातेभ्यः सर्वमप्यन्यच्छ्रुतमेवमेवेति विदांचक्रुःविज्ञातवन्तः यस्मात्, तस्मात्सर्वज्ञा एव सद्ज्ञानात् तेआसुरित्यर्थः ।अथवा एभ्यो विदांचक्रुरिति अग्न्यादिभ्योदृष्टान्तेभ्यो विज्ञातेभ्यः सर्वमन्यद्विदांचक्रुरित्येतत् ॥
In plain words
The great householders and eminent scholars of old, who realized this truth, declared: 'No one in our lineage, possessing this realization, will ever speak of anything as unheard, unthought, or unknown. Everything is fully known to us, because we possess the knowledge of the Real.' How did they know everything? The text explains that by understanding the three primary, triplicated forms—the red, the white, and the black—they realized that everything else is known in the very same way. Thus, through the knowledge of the Real, they became all-knowing. Alternatively, 'they knew from these' means that by understanding the illustrative examples of fire, sun, moon, and lightning, they understood everything else in existence.

Knowing this, the ancient, passed-away great householders and great Vedic scholars said indeed, traditionally: 'What did they say?' He says: 'No one in our family, now possessing the stated knowledge, will speak of anything as unheard, unthought, or unknown; everything is indeed known to our family members because of possessing the knowledge of the Real.' This is the meaning. How did they know all? He says: 'From these three triplicated forms, beginning with red, being known, they knew everything else as heard and known in this very way.' Because of this, they were indeed all-knowing through the knowledge of the Real. Or, 'they knew from these' means that from the known illustrations of fire and the rest, they knew everything else.
