In plain words

When asked, he replied: The sun. All these beings exist on high and sing to the sun—meaning they praise it, owing to the shared sense of elevation, much like prāṇa. Therefore, this deity is to be understood as explained before.

Close to the Sanskrit

Asked, 'It is the sun', he said. All these beings, being high above, sing to the sun, they make sound, the intent is they praise, due to the similarity of high sound, like the prāṇa from the similarity of pra. Hence this deity and so on as before.
