Verse 63

आदित्य इति होवाच सर्वाणि ह वाइमानि भूतान्यादित्यमुच्चैः सन्त गायन्तिसैषा देवतोद्गीथ मन्वायत्ता ता चेदविद्वानुदगास्यो मूर्धा ते व्यपतिष्यत्तथोक्तस्यमयेति ॥ ७ ॥

In plain words

It is the sun, he replied. All these beings sing upward to the sun. This is the deity underlying the udgītha. Had you chanted it without knowing her, your head would have split apart, as I now declare to you.

The sun, he said. Indeed all these beings, existing on high, sing to the sun. This is the deity connected with the udgītha. If you had chanted without knowing her, your head would have fallen off, as I have stated.
