। ॥ १० ॥

In plain words

There was a time when Viṣṇu, Brahmā, Indra, and every other god were overcome by the poison that rose out of the ocean — and in less than half a moment, he protected them all, once they came to him in Śaraṇāgati, afflicted as they were. In him — Sāmba, the supreme Brahman — let my heart rest and delight, easily.

When Viṣṇu, Brahmā, the Lord of the gods, and the rest—all the gods—were overcome by the poison arisen from the ocean, then he swiftly protected in half a moment those afflicted gods who had come in Śaraṇāgati. In that one, Sāmba, the supreme Brahman, may my heart delight with ease.
