The Lord of the world — eternal, pure, without parts, one alone — is the witness when she sends the worlds out and when she gathers them back. Sheltering everything that exists is her play, and she delights in it. Śiva's wife, Gaurī, the Mother, her eyes lotuses: she is the one I praise.
