जाग्रद्दृष्ट्वा स्थूलपदार्थानथ मायांदृष्ट्वा स्वप्नेऽथापि सुषुप्तौ सुखनिद्राम् ।इत्यात्मानं वीक्ष्य मुदास्ते च तुरीयेतं संसारध्वान्तविनाशं हरिमीडे ॥ १६ ॥
In plain words
Awake, he sees solid things. Dreaming, he sees māyā and nothing more. In deep sleep he sees only sleep's own ease. Seeing the Self through all three, he rests in the fourth, and rests gladly. Him, in whom the darkness of saṃsāra is destroyed — Hari — I praise.
