Haristutiḥ

Verse 34

In plain words

Who would draw a single breath, if this were not there in the Self — this, this very bliss? It breathes out. It breathes in. That is how this śruti, reasoning it through, declares that He is. Hari, the destroyer of the darkness of saṃsāra — He is the one I praise.

Close to the Sanskrit

Who indeed would breathe at all, if this were not in the Self — this, this very bliss? It breathes out and it breathes in — thus. Thus, by cogent reasoning, this śruti declares His existence. Him, the destroyer of the darkness of saṃsāra, Hari, I praise.
