सत्तामात्रं केवलविज्ञानमजं स-त्सूक्ष्मं नित्यं तत्त्वमसीत्यात्मसुताय ।साम्नामन्ते प्राह पिता यं विभुमाद्यंतं संसारध्वान्तविनाशं हरिमीडे ॥ ३७ ॥

Mere being. Consciousness and nothing besides. Unborn, real, subtle, unchanging — "That is what you are." So a father spoke to his own son, at the close of the Sāma chants. That one, everywhere present, first of all, who destroys the darkness that is saṃsāra — Hari — I praise.
