In plain words
Nothing exists apart from him — and even saying that much is not the final truth. He is other than everything that can be seen, because he is knowing itself, with no object in it. Knower, knowing, known: he is without all three, and still, always, knows. That Hari, the ending of saṃsāra's darkness, I praise.
Close to the Sanskrit
Than whom nothing else exists — and yet not thus in the ultimate sense; other than the seen, because of consisting of objectless knowledge; devoid of knower, knowing, and known, yet always knowing — that Hari, the destruction of the darkness of saṃsāra, I praise.
