In plain words

The tree of saṃsāra: its seed is wrongdoing, its branches are endless karma, its leaves are the senses, its flowers are desire, and its fruit is sorrow. I climbed it, and now I am terrified. O compassionate one, Lakṣmī-Nṛsiṃha, give me the support of your hand.

Close to the Sanskrit

The tree of saṃsāra — whose seed is sin, furnished with the endless branches of karma, whose leaves are the sense-organs, whose flowers are desire — having climbed it, fruited as it is with sorrow, terrified am I. O compassionate one, O Lakṣmī-Nṛsiṃha, give me the support of your hand.
