In plain words
At first light I bow to Lalitā's lotus feet — feet that never tire of giving her devotees the very thing they long for, the boat that carries us over the ocean of birth and death. Brahmā on his lotus seat and the foremost of the gods come here to worship. And on those soles: the lotus, the goad, the banner, the discus.
Close to the Sanskrit
At dawn I bow to Lalitā's lotus-feet — intent upon the giving of what devotees desire, a boat upon the ocean of becoming, to be worshipped by the leaders of the gods beginning with the lotus-seated one, rich with the marks of lotus, goad, banner, and discus.
