स्तद्वत्त्व वा ॥ॐ लपटायै नमः ॥लकुलेश्वरी ।कु पृथिव्युपलक्षितजगत् लीयते अस्मिनिति कुलम् , मायोपाधिकचैतन्यम् , प्रलयाधिष्ठानम् ।यत्प्रयन्त्यभिमविशन्ति' इति श्रुते ।लीयमान कुल लकुलनिरुपाधिकमित्यर्थ ।तच्च सा ईश्वरी च सा तथा ।अथवा,लकुल स्थानविशेष स्वाधिष्ठान मणिपूरक वा, तस्थेश्वरी,विष्णुरुद्रात्मिकेत्यथ , भूतसृष्टिश्रुतौ प्रथिव्या उदके तस्यतेजमि तस्य परमात्मनि लयश्रवणात् ।'सदायतना सत्यतिष्ठा ' इति ।तस्येश्वरी विभूतिविशेषो वा ॥ॐ लकुलेश्वर्यै नमः ॥लब्धमाना लब्धरसा लब्धसपत्समुन्नति ।ह्रींकारिणीच हींकारी ह्रींमध्या ह्रींशिखामाण ॥लब्धमाना ।सर्वै प्राणिभि लब्ध मान अध्यस्ताहकाआभमानात्मकस्तद्वदहकार प्रकीर्त्यते' इति स्मरणात् ।अध्यासेनाहकाराधिष्ठानेत्यथ ।अथवा, 'मान पूजायाम्' इतिस्मरणात् यैयै प्राणिभि विद्यैश्वर्यकुलसौन्दर्यातिशयादिवशात् पूजा लभ्यते सुखहेतु सा तदन्तर्यामिणा पूर्वमेवलब्धा, पूजादिजन्योपकारस्य सुखादे स्वस्वरूपतया लब्ध->

She is the sovereign ruler of the cosmic absorption, the ultimate ground where the entire universe of elements dissolves back into unconditioned consciousness. Whether she is realized as the presiding deity of the subtle energy centers of the body or as the supreme power of the Lord, she is the true substratum of our very sense of 'I'. Every drop of honor, beauty, and joy that any being experiences in this world is but a tiny reflection of her own eternal, blissful nature, which she possesses as the inner controller of all.

Lakuleśvarī: 'ku' means the world characterized by earth, which dissolves ('līyate') in this, thus it is 'kula', meaning consciousness conditioned by Maya, the substratum of dissolution. As the scripture says, 'into which they enter'. The dissolving 'kula' is 'lakula', meaning the unconditioned. She who is that and also the ruler ('īśvarī') is thus named. Or, 'lakula' is a specific place, either Svadhisthana or Manipuraka, and she is the ruler of that, meaning she is of the nature of Vishnu and Rudra; because in the scripture on the creation of elements, the dissolution of earth into water, water into fire, and fire into the supreme Self is heard. 'Always the abode, the truth, the foundation,' thus. Or she is the ruler of that, a specific divine manifestation. Om, salutations to Lakuleśvarī. Labdhamānā, Labdharasā, Labdhasampatsamunnatih, Hrīṃkāriṇī, Hrīṃkārī, Hrīṃmadhyā, Hrīṃśikhāmaṇiḥ. Labdhamānā: by all living beings, the ego-sense is obtained, which is of the nature of superimposed identification, as remembered: 'the ego is declared to be of the nature of identification'. By superimposition, she is the substratum of the ego. Or, since 'māna' means worship, the worship obtained by living beings due to knowledge, lordship, lineage, beauty, and excellence, which is the cause of happiness, is already obtained by her as the inner controller; the benefit of worship, such as happiness, is obtained as her own nature.
