In plain words
I am Brahman, and nothing else. This whole world is Cit alone—pure consciousness unfurled. Every last bit of it I have imagined into place through Avidyā, ignorance woven of the three Guṇas—the three strands. Whoever holds that conviction firmly — resting in what is more blissful, eternal, supreme, without a stain — whether he is an outcaste or twice-born, he is the Guru, the teacher. This is my settled conviction.
Close to the Sanskrit
I am Brahman alone; and this entire world is spread out as Cit alone—pure consciousness. And all of this, without remainder, has been imagined by me through Avidyā—ignorance—formed of the three Guṇas, the three qualities. He whose conviction is firm in this way — in that which is more blissful, eternal, supreme, stainless — let him be an outcaste or let him be twice-born; he is the Guru, the teacher. This is my conviction.
