In plain words

Through the word of his Guru, his teacher, he has settled it: this whole universe is ever perishable. He reflects without interruption on the eternal Brahman, and his Ātma—his self—is peaceful without pretense. Wrong already done, wrong still to come — he burns it all in a fire made of Saṃvit, conscious awareness. His own body he has handed over to Prārabdha, the Karma already set in motion. This is my settled conviction.

Having ascertained, by the word of the Guru, the teacher, that the entire universe is indeed ever perishable; by one who reflects uninterruptedly on the eternal Brahman, whose Ātma—self—is peaceful and without pretense, and who burns up past and future evil deeds in the fire made of Saṃvit, conscious awareness — his own body has been surrendered to Prārabdha, the Karma already set in motion: this is my conviction.
