The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Nirvāṇaṣaṭkam

Verse 3

In plain words

Hatred and craving are not mine. Greed and confusion are not mine. Pride is not mine, and neither is envy. I am not duty, not wealth, not pleasure — and not even liberation. I am awareness itself, and it is whole: I am Śiva, I am Śiva.

Close to the Sanskrit

Aversion and attraction are not mine, greed and delusion are not mine; pride is certainly not mine, nor is the state of envy. I am not duty, nor wealth, nor desire, nor liberation. Of the nature of consciousness and bliss, I am Śiva, I am Śiva.
