यत् ब्रह्मवित्पश्यति ज्ञानयोगात्, यत् ज्ञात्वा अमृता भवन्ति, तत् शुक्रं शुद्धम् अविद्यादिदोषरहितं महज्ज्योतिः सर्वावभासकत्वात्; श्रूयते च—‘तस्य भासा सर्वमिदं विभाति’ इति ।दीप्यमानं भ्राजमानं महद्यशः ।श्रूयते च—‘तस्य नाम महद्यशः’ इति ।यद्वै ब्रह्म देवाः इन्द्रादयः उपासते ।श्रूयते च—‘तं देवा ज्योतिषां ज्योतिरायुर्होपासतेऽमृतम्’,
In plain words
That which the knower of Brahman beholds through the discipline of knowledge, knowing which seekers become immortal—that is the bright, pure light, untouched by ignorance or any flaw, majestic because it illuminates all things. As the scripture declares: 'By its radiance alone does all this universe shine.' It is blazing, radiant, and of supreme glory. And the Veda says: 'Its name is supreme glory.' This is indeed the Brahman whom gods like Indra worship. As the scripture proclaims: 'The gods worship that immortal reality as the light of lights, the very breath of life.'

That which the knower of Brahman sees through knowledge-yoga, knowing which they become immortals—that bright, pure, free from faults like ignorance, great light, because of illuminating everything; and it is heard: 'By its luster all this shines forth.' Blazing, shining, great glory. And it is heard: 'Its name is great glory.' Which indeed Brahman the gods, Indra and others, worship. And it is heard: 'That the gods worship as the light of lights, life, the immortal.'
