इति ।यस्मात् परज्योतिषो ब्रह्मणः अर्कः आदित्यो विराजते, ‘येन सूर्यस्तपति तेजसेद्धः’ इति श्रुतेः ।एवंभूतं परमात्मानं भगवन्तं सनातनं योगिन एव पश्यन्ति, न पुनर्ज्ञानयोगरहिताः ॥
In plain words
That is what "thus" means: the sun blazes because it is from Brahman, the supreme light, that it blazes at all. Scripture says it plainly — "kindled by his radiance, the sun burns." And the supreme Self of that very nature, the Lord, the eternal one: the yogins are the ones who see him. Those without the yoga of knowledge do not.
Close to the Sanskrit
"Thus" — because it is from that supreme light, from Brahman, that the sun, Āditya, shines forth, according to the śruti: "kindled by whose radiance the sun burns." The supreme Self of just such a nature, the Lord, the eternal — yogins alone see him; not, on the other hand, those devoid of the yoga of knowledge.
