सनत्सुजातं रहिते महात्मा पप्रच्छ बुद्धिं परमां बुभूषन् ॥ १ ॥

Alone with him, no one else in the room, the great-souled king put his question to Sanatsujāta — he wanted the highest knowledge for his own.
